Little hometown restaurant with that little hometown atmosphere. Love the soups at the salad bar. Tastes like good ole country cookin

I have to say the food was good but the service sucks I had to wait like 5 minutes or longer for a refill for my water I was thirsty after my fried chicken. My waiter never did ask how my food was or nothing. Needless to say I won't come back 😔 A different person filled my water up for me

Great little place for home cooked meals. All you can eat fish on fridays. Homemade desserts. Staff is very friendly and prices are reasonable.

Had evening breakfast, the East Gate Breakfast Special. Fast service. The food was delicious. Would be glad to go back.

Fantastic local diner! Friendly and prompt service, beverages stayed full. I had the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich, tried a bite of the Patti melt, and tried a pancake! Next time in the area totally coming back. Thanks Eastgate

Best kept secret! Good-no. Really good food and huge portions. Godda love the fried bologna sandwich as a flash back food. No fancies,but friendly. Be patient on food. Sign is missing on outside. Trust GPX.Must stop when going past!

The food is good, reasonable and the staff are friendly. We went early afternoon on a Tuesday and it was busy. If we lived in Henderson this would be a regular for us.

Just a good ole fashion dinner, remember this place when I was a kid. Hasn't changed much since then.

I've been here a few times and the food is always great. Went tonight though and I'm not sure I'll go back. We went in, it wasn't very busy, was greeted by a waitress who told us to sit anywhere we wanted. We chose a table surrounded by 3-4 other tables and had probably 4 or 5 waitresses and employees walk by who never bothered to give us a menu, speak to us or acknowledge us at all. We waited for 15 minutes to just be acknowledged and handed a menu but it never happened so we got up and left. We weren't on our phones or distracted and that weren't that busy so 15 minutes without being acknowledged is unnaceptable.

Nice waitress but salad bar had a hair in it. Pancake was a nice size, sausage did not taste good

I've been eating at Eastgate restaurant for years! It's a good family-oriented restaurant we're friends and family can meet and enjoy themselves in nice clean atmosphere! I also know that the owners are Christians, which I think makes a difference in today's society! I've always gotten good service and good food especially their breakfast! So I highly recommended if you're looking for a good place to eat!

Great atmosphere with counter seats. Food took a bit to come out but was still timely and perfect to order. I miss places like this.
